We're passively opening recruitment again and have opened up applications. Since we're beyond our major recruitment drive already we won't be able to accept many more adventurers in, thus the application process will be selective.

Applications will remain open up until and through release, closing again only when and if we fill up to the point where I think recruitment should be set back to invite only.

Pumpkin Parade is a relaxed guild formed by friends and companions. We aim to enjoy the game and each other's company while applying and improving our skills towards progression and the completion of endgame content.

The guild's first roll call is upon us! Over the course of the next week we'll be registering those who are activate and flagging inactive members as so. Members who are inactive are unable to log in completely but can still PM the leader. Inactive accounts are deleted automatically after a month and do not appear on the roster list.

We've updated our banner and background to give a bit more of a mystical and dark feel to the site. The changes are designed to contrast with our festive name, the reasoning behind which can be found on our little lore blurb on Core.

Thank you all for the overwhelming support we have received. It seems I was forced to eat my words when I stated we would be growing slowly, but at the time I truly didn't expect so many friends and outstanding people to apply to our humble guild!

I can only say that I am more than pleased with those who have decided to join our little family and eagerly await the release of FFXIV. For those of you still interested in our guild, I do apologize but the application process isn't an easy one for us either. Rest assured however that we will again open our doors sometime in the future as release draws nearer, so if you've yet to find a home feel free tor reapply then!

It is my profound pleasure to finally announce that Pumpkin Parade has entered the recruitment phase! This is the first big step in a long journey into the world of Eorzea.

With the beta starting sometime this week and the game release a mere three months away it is time to finally add to our numbers and begin the recruitment drive in earnest. If you're interested in joining please apply via submitting an application!

I've been receiving a few inquiries about our guild. The big question: are we dead? Of course not! We are bound by a purpose: FFXIV. This game is unfortunately not out yet and won't be for nearly a year. This, among other things, is the reason why we are not recruiting and why are numbers are currently small. Those within our guild are currently either close friends who are spoken to often or members who have asked to join, have been cleared by me, and are ok with the wait.

The guild has been latent for a while and will remain so until nearer to release/open beta when we will begin our recruitment drive. There's simply no point in doing otherwise. The forums here are a medium for our guild activities which aren't..well, happening because the game hasn't released. Thus we communicate through other methods.. on FFXIVcore.com, skype, or through chat.

We are however very much alive. Expect to see more information about us when the game's release isn't nearly a year away, heh.

This event marks a grand day and showcases our commitment to creating a unified Eorzea where all can enjoy her splendors without the usual annoyances that plague an MMORPG title. Unfortunately Pumpkin Parade remains in passive recruitment and will continue recruiting only through invitation and referrals for the time being.
